The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. ENGINE DEVELOPED A SUDDEN MISFIRE IN #4 CYLINDER FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS, THEN CLEARED. SUBSEQUENTLY, HAD LARGE WHITE CLOUDS OF COOLANT AND BURNED OIL COMING FROM TAILPIPE WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS. AFTER TURNING ENGINE OFF AND LETTING IT COOL, NOTICED COOLANT LEVEL LOW IN RESERVOIR, LOW OIL LEVEL ON DIPSTICK. LOW COMPRESSION ON #4 CYL. AND BURNED OIL ON #4 SPARK PLUG. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A CUT TO THE LEFT ELBOW AS A RESULT OF THE SHATTERED GLASS FROM THE SUN ROOF, BUT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
