THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED; HOWEVER, THE SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. There was a was a recall issued back in 2010 for the 2006 Honda Ridgeline. Mine is a 2006 but when I put in the VIN number it doesn't come up with a recall. I had the problem that you all are describing my vehicle caught fire from probably a faulty wiring harness.[XXX]. The contact owns a 2006 Honda Ridgeline. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V430000 (Structure); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. Upon further inspection, the contact and an independent mechanic noticed severe rear frame corrosion. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer twice; however, the vehicle could not be raised up on the lift. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 226,000.

The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.
