Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2018-2023 Odyssey, 2019-2022 Pilot, and 2019-2023 Passport vehicles. Due to a faulty Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) communication coaxial cable connector, the rearview camera image may not appear on the display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk: A rearview camera that does not display an image can reduce the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Fix: Dealers will replace the MOST cable harness and install a straightening cover over the vehicle cable connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2023. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are EEL, ZEM, and SFC.

Steering Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Odyssey and 2024 Acura RDX vehicles. The steering gear box assembly may not have been tightened properly, allowing water to enter the assembly and cause corrosion and binding gears.

Risk: Corroded and binding steering gears can result in a loss of steering control and increase the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the electric power steering rack, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 4, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are LHU and FHT.

Summaries are quoted verbatim from NHTSA's official campaign records. A single campaign often covers dozens of model years and several nameplates, so a summary may name vehicles other than the 2023 Odyssey — that is normal. Every record listed here carries this vehicle's own make, model and model year in NHTSA's database. Whether a recall is still open on a particular car can only be determined by VIN.

Feb 2025 my windshield was cracked by a random fly ball at my grandson‘s baseball game. I contacted Safelite who put me in touch with South Florida Auto Glass out of [XXX] . They came down replaced the windshield reset the sensors. Everything was fine exactly one year later (2/2026) I got a warning on the dash that the radar was obstructed & all the sensors stopped working. I brought the car up to Largo Honda in [XXX] City and they reset the sensors. On my way home about half an hour into my 3 hr drive, the sensors stopped working again. Electrical System (9 complaints)

My 2023 Honda Odyssey (approximately 38,000 miles) has an intermittent no-crank/no-start condition. Pressing the push-button start produces no crank at all; the engine only starts on exactly the fourth press, consistently. The battery was tested and is good. The condition worsened noticeably after a high-pressure car wash, suggesting moisture intrusion. This matches Honda Technical Service Bulletin 23-023 ("Engine Does Not Crank"), which covers 2018–2023 Odysseys and attributes the defect to water entering the starter motor. The vehicle is about 2,000 miles past the 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumpe

My 2023 Honda Odyssey experienced a serious malfunction of the Auto Idle Stop system at approximately 32,987 miles. While stopped at a traffic light, the engine automatically shut off as designed but failed to restart when I attempted to move forward. This created a dangerous situation because my vehicle was unable to move when the traffic light changed, potentially putting me, my entire family at risk of a rear-end collision. The vehicle's battery had been replaced only a few months earlier, so this problem occurred despite having a relatively new battery. After researching the issue onlin

I have a 2023 Honda Odyssey. The engine is making a knocking noise. The oil has just been changed with 5.7 quarts, following the factory specifications, but the knocking is still there. The timing belt tensioner has also been replaced, as well as the high-pressure fuel pump. However, the knocking noise is still present, especially at low speeds.
