Summaries are quoted verbatim from NHTSA's official campaign records. A single campaign often covers dozens of model years and several nameplates, so a summary may name vehicles other than the 2022 CR-V — that is normal. Every record listed here carries this vehicle's own make, model and model year in NHTSA's database. Whether a recall is still open on a particular car can only be determined by VIN.
269 owner complaints on file with NHTSA for the 2022 CR-V, grouped by the component owners reported. Counts reflect how many owners complained, not how often the fault actually occurs.

A complaint is an unverified owner report. It is a signal about where to look, not proof of a defect.

The steering is sticky. It feels stuck when going around curves. This creates a jerky driving experience and I'm worried it could cause an accident on wet or icy roads.

On three separate occasions my automatic brakes designed to avoid a collision have engaged while I was driving highway speed with no vehicle or obstruction I'm front of my car.

I am reporting a potentially serious safety concern involving the front driver's-side window of my 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid. While I was driving on a highway, shortly after leaving a stoplight, the front driver's-side window suddenly shattered. I had just come from a stoplight and was not traveling at high speed. There was no known collision or apparent object striking the window that caused it to break. Honda has already refused to assist me with the repair. I have found several NHTSA owner complaints involving spontaneous shattering or exploding of side/rear window glass on this generation

On July 15 around 7:15 AM in the morning I was driving on my way to work at a highway speed of about 55mph and all of a sudden I just heard almost like an explosion or something had hit the vehicle and I saw something flying off the roof. The vehicle has the sunroof and so I decided to pull over and I checked the vehicle and sure enough the sunroof seemed to randomly shatter. nothing had hit the vehicle, there were no other vehicles near me. I don’t recall having vehicle being hit by anything anytime recently. The last two days we had extremely high temperatures and I did use the AC at low te

On October 19th at 4pm, driving at 72 miles per hour the engine lost power and the engine light flashed. As this was during heavy rush hour traffic, it was a big risk trying to get to the side of the road, get off the highway and travel at very slow speed (20-25 mph) until I could get home. After the engine was shut off and the restarted after 20 minutes, the engine light was off and it seemed to run normally. The car was taken to the dealership where it was purchased several days later and no fault code could be found to identify the problem.

Car went into "limp mode" while we were driving on the turnpike on a hill at 70 MPH. Speed dropped to 30 MPH in an area with a construction zone so there was little room to pull to the side of the road safely. We were lucky to be in the right lane so made it to the side next to the construction barrels.
