Summaries are quoted verbatim from NHTSA's official campaign records. A single campaign often covers dozens of model years and several nameplates, so a summary may name vehicles other than the 2007 CR-V — that is normal. Every record listed here carries this vehicle's own make, model and model year in NHTSA's database. Whether a recall is still open on a particular car can only be determined by VIN.
887 owner complaints on file with NHTSA for the 2007 CR-V, grouped by the component owners reported. Counts reflect how many owners complained, not how often the fault actually occurs.

My husband was I voved in a accident where the other driver hit him in the front side of the bumper where one of the airbag indicators are located. We took the vehicle in for inspection of repairs and they told us that that airbag sensor was triggered which caused the airbag light to turn off. We are concerned because of the sensor was hit then why didn’t the airbags deploy?...it shows on the steering wheel the small part has been lifted where the airbag is but it didn’t fully deploy..this is a big safety issue ..the husband could have been seriously injured if this was a huge accident because Crash reported

BOTH PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCKS ARE MALFUNCTIONING. THEY MAKE A VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LOCK/UNLOCK. MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEY WILL ONLY STAY UNLOCKED FOR A BRIEF MOMENT BEFORE MOVING BACK TO THE LOCKED POSITION. MANUALLY MANEUVERING THE LOCK IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE, WHICH CREATES A BIG SAFETY HAZARD OF THE VEHICLE POTENTIALLY LOCKING PASSENGERS INSIDE WITH NO MEANS OF OPENING THE DOORS. *TR

I bought the 2007 Honda CRV in 2022. Approximately 1 month ago my keys were locked inside. 3 reputable locksmiths could not unlock any doors. My extra fob or extra key will not unlock any doors. The passenger door had been making a ticking then grinding noise when it locks itself. All 3 locksmiths said this a serious safety problem and the actuator is at fault. The only way to get in was to retrieve my set of keys out of the wedged door. I haven't received any recalls on actuators but there was a class action in 2015-2016 (which I was not the owner then) that stated ALL 2007, 2008 and a few 20

This creates serious safety risks: •Doors randomly unlock while driving and while parked •Cannot reliably open doors in an emergency •At times, the vehicle must be left unlocked •I transport young children, making ma
