Summaries are quoted verbatim from NHTSA's official campaign records. A single campaign often covers dozens of model years and several nameplates, so a summary may name vehicles other than the 2006 Accord — that is normal. Every record listed here carries this vehicle's own make, model and model year in NHTSA's database. Whether a recall is still open on a particular car can only be determined by VIN.

I was ran off the road by another driver on March 8, 2024. I honked so that they would know I was there and then swerved as they continued to come towards me. As this happened, I lost control of my vehicle and it fishtailed on the highway, doing a complete 180° and going from 70 mph to 0 mph as I crashed into a concrete barrier on the shoulder of the road. The airbags did not deploy. My car will likely be totaled and because of its age, we will not keep it. It will not be available for inspection. My safety was put as risk because my airbags did not deploy. Thankfully, in this instance, I was Crash reported

The AC DELCO brake pads were reported to be designed for use on the front calipers of a 2006 Honda Accord. While performing a routine brake caliper cleaning and inspection, I observed that the friction material completely separated from the metal backing plate on the passenger outboard brake pad. Additionally, an area near the top portion of the friction material cracked, forming an approximate one inch vertical tear through the pad. The crack was missing approximately 4 to 5 millimeters of friction material across horizontally (i.e., it was possible to look through it). Separation of the fric
